Poop Bandit: professional, family-run, and cleaning up the competition.
Born out of necessity in 2017, because Mike Wright’s son, Lucas, was having no luck finding a job right out of school. They looked around, brainstormed a bit, and came up with their idea: Provide a service no one likes to do. Operate it like a professional, home services-based company. (Mike has owned several of them.) And do it better than anyone else.
Poop Bandit certainly is growing. As of today, they’ve expanded into Tampa and Michigan. They pay their employees well, with bonuses and a 401K. They have six trucks and several hundred clients, residential and commercial. But what really sets them apart is what got them started in the first place. “We are still a family-owned and operated business,” Mike says. “Because we treat all our employees—relatives and non-relatives—like family. We care and do the job we do because it reflects on us. All of us have that mindset. Our people are prompt, conscientious, and do what they say they will when they say it.”
What Poop Bandit does is good for people, good for the environment, and good enough to earn Best Pet Service in The Local Magazine of Winter Garden.
