Bourbon + Burgers

Serious burgers, fearless toppings, and a legendary whiskey menu make The Whiskey a local legend.

Sometimes only a burger will do.

The Whiskey doesn’t mess around—more than 20 crave-worthy options, hot off the grill, and built to satisfy any burger craving.

Katie Zagaroli, owner of The Whiskey, just smiles when people ask why her burgers are so darn good. “Our meat is delivered here fresh, every day. The burgers are a full eight ounces, custom-blended from chuck, brisket, and short rib meat. Then chargrilled to order. That’s why.”

And that’s only the patty. There are over 20 burgers on the menu, each one more than capable of silencing that nagging little feed-me-a-burger voice, at least until next time. Check out the Surf and Turf burger; a feast for the eyes as well as a hungry tummy.  It’s a house patty, with arugula, tomato, whiskey onions, Swiss cheese, crab meat in char-grilled butter, and crab mayo between two buns. It is, without question, a culinary work of art! There’s the Whiskey Burger, dressed with dill aioli, smoked Gouda, and applewood smoked bacon. Or, The Salty Pear Burger,  finished with a bourbon-poached pear and brie mornay sauce.

Feeling frisky? Stomach growling? The Best Burger growls back with a meaty blend of Wagyu beef, wild boar, and elk. If you’re game, The Whiskey also cooks up a mean bison or camel burger. Oh, yeah. This is definitely not a burger joint for the faint of heart.

Now, the whiskey. There’s a reason it’s the name of the place. With a thousand whiskey brands and growing, including some custom blends from the likes of Maker’s Mark and Jack Daniels, if you can’t find your ideal belly warmer here, it’s not whiskey.

For dessert, there’s music. It rocks the rafters every evening with live covers of all the classics from the 60s, to the 80s and 90s. It’s dinner music with a soul. Check out The Whiskey. You’ll dig the vibe almost as much as the food!
