One For All

The First Academy offers a personalized path to academic and spiritual growth.

All students deserve a well-rounded education that upholds the highest standards of academics, social development, and spiritual growth. The First Academy in Orlando was founded on those principles with a mission to develop the next generation of Christian leaders. It is a Christ-centered school that integrates a biblical worldview into all aspects of every student’s education; it is so much more than just a weekly chapel service at TFA.

The First Academy is one school with a learning path for everyone in your family. From Preschool to Traditional College-Prep to Hybrid Home+School to the Distinct Abilities Learning Program, TFA can serve all students’ needs and help busy families optimize their time with synchronized student schedules and coordinated drop-off and pick-up times across all programs.

The First Academy stands apart through its intentional commitment to developing the whole student, balancing academic excellence with spiritual formation, arts, and athletics. TFA offers 26 AP classes, over 45 athletic teams, yearly main-stage theatrical productions, schoolwide art gallery exhibits, and opportunities for students to be involved in Bible studies and chapel worship teams. College-Prep starts early at TFA, with the youngest Royals in Preschool engaged in developmentally appropriate learning, outdoor play, and socialization that prepares them to step into Lower School at TFA and beyond.

Hybrid teaching is another path trending upward right now. At TFA’s Hybrid Home+School program, parents can combine traditional schooling two days a week on campus with parent-assisted home instruction the rest of the week. Distinct Abilities Learning is a path where The First Academy truly shines. It’s a self-contained division for students with unique abilities that features individualized instruction and small student-to-teacher ratios. Plus, they still get exposure to art, music, and physical education tailored to their abilities.

Jennifer Jackson, Assistant Head of School, tells us: “We’re one school with multiple programs to fit whatever a family needs. We provide the academics to excel and the faith to inspire with a singular goal to prepare all of our students for the next chapter that God has planned for them.”
