The AI Advantage

How Plant Street Academy is preparing the next generation for a rapidly changing world.

Artificial intelligence is here, and our children are already using it. The question is whether they’re learning to use it responsibly, effectively, and with critical thinking.

Plant Street Academy is embracing this technology while preparing students for something much bigger: the real world.

Through their Young Founders entrepreneurship workshops and AI education, students learn how to turn ideas into opportunities, solve problems, understand customers, build brands, and use emerging technology to work smarter.

“Entrepreneurship isn’t just about starting a business. It’s about developing a mindset that prepares young people for life,” says Lenka Brady, Founder of Plant Street Academy. “We teach students to think critically, communicate confidently, take initiative, solve problems, and learn from setbacks. These are transferable skills they’ll need whether they become entrepreneurs, employees, or leaders.”

AI is becoming an essential part of that preparation.

Students explore how to use AI for research, brainstorming, content creation, and business development. They must also learn to question, verify information, recognize limitations, and apply their own judgment.

“AI is only as effective as the person guiding it,” says Margarita ‘Maggie’ Grisales, AI Coach at Plant Street Academy. “Our goal is to teach students how to ask better questions, evaluate results, and use AI to enhance their creativity and problem-solving abilities, not replace them.”

At the Academy, they believe innovation and human intelligence belong together. Technology can accelerate the process, but curiosity, empathy, resilience, and sound judgment remain essential.

Plant Street Academy offers homeschool enrichment and youth entrepreneurship, leadership, and AI workshops in Winter Garden and Clermont.
