Designed to Wow

When it comes to designing your dream home, your Viewpoint matters most.

Design is not for the faint of heart. DIYers who work on their own homes can easily get overwhelmed with decision overload.

When that happens, it’s time to call Viewpoint Design and Installation. “We come to your home, we listen, we measure. We get to know your vision, and then we work the details until we arrive at the perfect solution—for you. People always ask us: Is there a perfect design? Of course there is. The one that works for you,” says Lynda Mongeluzzi, Viewpoint’s Lead Designer.

This reflects their design philosophy. Form Follows Function is how they approach every job. They ask questions and get to know their clients to find out how they will use the design space in question; no matter whether it’s a kitchen, bath, bar, office—the process is the same.

After measuring the space and accounting for immoveable variables, Lynda starts the creative design process. “There are trends in design, of course. Door styles are thinner. White is still king, but two-tone cabinets are on trend. So are brushed nickel and brushed gold fixtures and hardware. But you have to be careful. Trendy can go too far and lose its appeal quickly.”

Clients often wonder whether to design for themselves—or play it safe and design for resale. “It depends how long you’ll be living there,” Lynda advises. “A short time, three to five years? Design for resale. Longer than that? Get what you want and enjoy it.”

Either way, from inspiration to installation, the safest, best advice is also the simplest—choose Viewpoint.
