Dr. Dawn Engle, Head of School at Real Life Christian Academy, says that “Relationships are our cornerstones because great things happen inside strong relationships.” Students and their families learn quickly that this is a school with a very different approach to academics and faith. Established in 1984, it is one of Florida’s oldest faith-based schools and one of its most celebrated. “We teach a Biblical world view from a robust organic approach. No matter what the class, we teach students to delve deep to discover God’s truth in that subject. We give them the tools to defend their faith while they’re away from church and out in the world.” Starting in the 8th grade and then every year through 12th, the school, students, and their families meet to discuss a student’s goals, interests, and current work to be sure students get the most benefit from their Real Life schooling. “It’s important to empower our students, to armor them with the knowledge of God.
