The first sign that Revel Realty isn’t a typical brokerage? The office. It doesn’t look corporate, traditional, or even particularly “real estate.” And yes,  it’s orange.

“We worked out of cafés and coffee shops while this space was being built,” says owner Chris Sapp. “It took two years, which gave me time to think about what I didn’t want. Rows of cubicles and closed-off private offices weren’t going to cut it. And the colors? Most brokerages lean into blue and black — dependable, corporate, boring. I knew right away I didn’t want to look like everyone else.”

All those months working from coffee shops left a lasting impression.

“We spent a lot of time in booths, and I noticed how much that setup changed conversations. It’s friendlier. More relaxed. More human. I decided that feeling was exactly what I wanted for Revel.

“We have a row of booths along one wall, like a café, but ours have HDMI hookups and monitors. We do have a reception desk, but it’s designed more like a bar, with stools, a sink, and a fridge. Our lounge area has a rug, a coffee table, and comfortable chairs. It feels welcoming. It feels different. And yes, it’s orange. It stands out — just like Revel.”

That same spirit carries into the way Revel works with clients.

“For us, everything starts with mindset,” Chris says. “Buying or selling a home is a major life moment. It’s about more than closing a deal. It’s a meaningful experience, and it should be treated, and celebrated, that way.”

Revel’s Discovery process reflects that philosophy. Every client is different, and what truly matters are the reasons behind their decisions.

“‘We want a three-bedroom, two-bath home’ is just the beginning,” Chris explains. “Why three bedrooms? Are you growing your family? Do you need a home office or space for guests? We want to understand how you live and work so we can recommend the right home, in the right neighborhood.”

Another defining trait? Revel Realty is proudly local.

“Our sister company operated out of this location for 47 years,” Chris says. “My wife and I live six blocks away. Our agents live where they work. We support, advocate and are active in our communities. This is home.”

Education is another cornerstone of the Revel approach, especially for buyers. “A big part of our Discovery process is making sure clients understand every step,” Chris says. “We train our agents to protect buyers by pointing out potential pitfalls and walking them through the process. If there’s an issue with a home they’re considering, we make sure they know. We don’t like surprises, and neither do our clients.”

Real estate is complex, with plenty of stress points for buyers and sellers. Revel makes it their mission to anticipate those challenges and guide clients through them with confidence.

“This can be a complicated business,” Chris says. “But buying or selling a home should still be a positive, memorable experience. Our goal is to elevate that experience so that years later, our clients can still Revel in the memory of it.”
