Lighting the Way
Pioneering values-based early childhood education, Children’s Lighthouse is reshaping the future, one young mind at a time.

Can you ever be too young to learn? It’s an honest question for an Early Learning School like Children’s Lighthouse. And for the record, the answer is no, it’s never too early. Students at Children’s Lighthouse range from six-week-old infants to four years and they begin learning before they learn to talk. Letters, numbers, colors; they’re all on the Lighthouse BRIGHT™ curriculum here—including baby sign language. Exactly as it sounds, baby sign language is a method of using hand and body gestures to communicate with infants before they can speak. Most commonly those “words” are more, milk, water, mom, and dad.
During the infant years, baby brains develop at lightspeed. The Lighthouse BRIGHT™ program has been designed to maximize those early development opportunities. Higher thinking skills are supported through a curriculum rich in language and tailored to your child’s individual needs to support a lifelong love of learning. This integrated development will help your baby form critical thinking skills and build upon those skills as they grow.
There are always two teachers in every Children’s Lighthouse classroom. At least one, if not both, will possess CDA (child development accreditation). Connections between child and teacher are key to a successful program where the learning is goal-focused and heart-focused at the same time.
Security is a big question for parents who are new to the school, and as you might expect, Children’s Lighthouse excels there as well. There is real-time monitoring with cameras in all classrooms so parents can “sit in” on their kids’ school day at any time. Plus, all parents are given an entrance code to use for secure keypad entry. New for this year, an additional security door has been added in the lobby.
There is so much to see and experience at Children’s Lighthouse, a personalized tour is really the best way to fit it all in. See the classrooms in action, visit the age-appropriate playgrounds, meet the teachers, and
ask questions.
Children’s Lighthouse is open Monday through Friday from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with before and after-school programs. Now going into their nineteenth year, they offer a wonderful way to give your kids a head start, and a great foundation heading into kindergarten.
